Nim's Covers

From now on I'll keep this blog for updating different editions of the book or things specifically about the book, so check www.wendyorrjournal.blogspot.com for my journey through the book to movie adventure, or www.myspace.com/nimsisland for updates on the movie itself.

So some of Nim's covers to date are here, with some more on the previous post. These are: First edition (Australian); new Australian edition; Spanish; First American edition

Movie fosters an island dream | The Courier-Mail

Movie fosters an island dream | The Courier-Mail

This is quite a long and thorough story about the writing of Nim's Island, as well as the book to film story (and a nice picture of our dog Bear as well!)

Deadline panics

I thought I'd be on top of things by the end of this week, but it hasn't quite happened - so I've just asked for another week to get my manuscript of the third Mokie and Bik in to Henry Holt (and they've kindly said okay.)

So emails - I think I owe over 100 now - and blogs will have to wait till the following week. And one of the things I'll be able to tell you about then will be the Rye school's 'What if Everyone in Rye Read the same book', which I'm opening Monday morning. (Then race home to the computer for the Ipswich Online Festival.)

So till then...
