Australian premier at Sea World
I've got to admit I'd never have thought I'd ever walk down a red carpet for a film premier. And if I had I'd never have thought it would be with Jodie Foster.
But never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined walking down a red carpet with a sea lion!
I can't wait!
Jodie's coming back for film premiere

... well I have to admit that Selkie is a total cutie, but I must confess that I have a serious crush on Fred after the newest trailer.
How exciting Wendy!
Congratulations!

I was involved with the hosting and marine operations of the location "Hinchinbrook Island" that the Nim's Island movie was partially filmed at. We worked closely with the location manager and background crew during a 3 week filming period here in Far North Queensland. Port Hinchinbrook and Cardwell was a buzz during this time and many locals were extras in the film. We all await eagerly the release of this magical story. Congratulations Wendy on writing such a fantastic story!
PS: My youngest daughter Farrah was cast in the film too!

I love hearing all this background (as well as the kind words!). Thanks for sharing.
And one day we'll have to get up to Hinchinbrook to see it ourselves...
I am sure, Wendy, the recent film premiere in Australia was an incredible experience, not to mention sharing the red carpet with Jodie. :-)
I am so looking forward to see this film.
