Wendy Orr and Lauren Stringer...this pair tops our list of dynamic author/illustrator duos. You probably know Wendy Orr from her amazing book Nim's Island, or her many other delightful reads. And Lauren Stringer's pictures seem to have some magical powers, because they've been enchanting us for years. There are a lot of pictures of animals on thoeir site - looks like my kind of bookstore!
